Our project was significant with a major sloping back yard. It was challenging to access the site having to navigate the slope and especially challenging to create a flat space to build our dream outdoor space. We came to Frank with the desire to custom build a pool that would include a zero entry for our 21-year-old son who uses a wheelchair (we use a waterproof shower chair to get him in and out). My husband and I drew a rough sketch of our unconventional idea and Frank enthusiastically was up to the challenge. In the end, we are very pleased with the final product. This project was not without its delays and miscommunication, but due to the overall professionalism, patience, responsiveness, and expertise at ACR, particularly Thomas, the project was completed with no remaining concerns. It was an enormous project with challenges to overcome and unique ideas that we threw at the ACR team. Truthfully, most people said our ideas were impossible, but ACR met the challenge and took our unusable slope and gave us 1,600+ square feet of outdoor living space. In summary, ACR provided 2 enormous retaining walls, a 16' x 30' gunite pool imagined by us that includes a zero entry ramp to accommodate our son, and stamped concrete surround. We were also impressed with how neat and clean they left the area after each day's work. A final note about Thomas, who we feel is a major asset to the ACR team:
- the day the pool was being finished, we had a landscape team placing large stones and boulders. Thomas stayed to power wash all of the new river rock and boulders for us after he had finished power washing the stamped concrete. As it began to storm, Thomas continued power washing in the rain and then came back *the next day after we had already made our final payment* to see it dry to make sure he had cleaned it well. Special shout out to Andres and Todd as well. We are looking forward to continuing to work with Todd on pool.
